How the treatment works.
- 01Source walkWe find and empty or treat every container holding water, from plant saucers to a boat cover. This is the part that changes the population.
- 02Resting-site treatmentA residual goes on the shaded vegetation and lanai surfaces where adults sit through the heat of the day. Bromeliads and untippable water get a larvicide.
- 03Monthly returnRain resets the cycle, so service repeats monthly through the wet season. Event dates can be timed the day before.

Seasonality in Southwest Florida
June through October is the heavy stretch, when afternoon storms refill containers every few days. No-see-ums run on a different clock — March through June is worst, and coastal and mangrove-adjacent properties feel it around sunrise and sunset. On the barrier islands we are honest that the goal is reduction, because the breeding habitat is tidal soil off the property.
